The first 22 days of school have been a blast! We have done so many things like learning about Class Dojo, our “3 Things” project, playing Kahoot, learning about 9/11 and celebrating Respect week.
Class Dojo has short videos that teach you lessons about how to work out your brain and about empathy. We also earn points when we work hard and participate. You have to earn them throughout the year. You can earn different prizes and spend your points.
The "3 Things" project was that we had to bring our favorite stuff and share it with our friends. We needed to bring stuff from long ago or something that made us proud. Some people brought toys or pictures and trophies. It helped us learn about each other.
Kahoot is a fun game. It is a game we play on our Chromebooks. We usually play it on Friday. We like it when we get on fire. That means we got three questions in a row correct. The questions are about things that we do at school. At the end of the game we see the scores and say good game.
During respect week every student got a tattoo that said character counts. It was to remind us to treat people the way you want to be treated. Be nice and encourage people. We had a raffle for Respect week. The prizes were college shirts. We should show respect everyday not just one week out of the year.
That is how our first 22 days went and it has been great! We can’t wait to tell you about it in our next blog!
